2022 - 2023
The 22-acre shipyard (9 acres upland, 13 acres submerged land) was purchased by Stabbert Marine and Industrial in late February 2023.

We have provided long-term surveying and mapping support to The Port of Friday Harbor Airport, Port of Orcas Airport – Orcas Island, the Washington State DOT Ferry System, Roche Harbor Resort, and Century Link/Lumen.
In addition to providing our services to public and private sector clients, Star Surveying has a history of giving back to its community. Our firm has provided surveying and engineering support to organizations such as The San Juan Community Home Trust, Homes for Islanders and Housing Lopez with various stages of development such as platting, construction staking, layout, and topography.
